M4A1 Mid Production Sherman Italy 1944 by Rob Ervin

This model was built from our out of production F001 M4A1 Conversion and an Italeri Sherman donor kit. The tracks are from Tamiya, the figures are a mix of Royal Models, and Hornet Parts. The stowage is from Blast and Legends.

Formations M4A1 Applique Conversion by Rob Ervin

Model was built with the Out of Production Formations F015 M4A1 with Applique Armora and an Italeri Donor kit. Stowage is from various sources, figures are a combination of Royal Model, and Hornet Parts. The tracks are from Tamiya.

F085 Ram Badger by Mike Petty

Model was built with Formations F085 Ram Badger, F093 Riveted Lower Hull, and F024 Three Piece Transmission. Tracks were used from Dragon's Sherman III kit. The model was awarded an Advanced Gold Medal at the 2008 AMPS Nationals. 

Ram II OP Tank by Patrick Bernier of Canada

The model was built with our F062 Ram II OP Conversion and received a Gold Medal at the 2010 AMPS Nationals

M4A1 Italy December 1944 by Rob Ervin

This model was built from a combination of Formations parts and is mostly resin. The tracks are from Dragon, the stowage is from various sources, and the tarp on the rear and cover over the bow MG were adde with epoxy putty. The figure is from tamiya with Hornet head and hands.

M24 Chaffee by Tony Fradkin

This model was built with Formations F058 Chaffee Update set for the Italeri Kit and Fruil Tracks. The model was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2006 AMPS Nationals. 

M4 Sherman on Pontoon Bridge by Tony Fradkin

This model was built from Tamiya's M4 with many Formations Details and the Verlinden Pontoon Bridge Set. The Model won the Award for Best US Vehicle at the 2005 Amps Nationals and Best Sherman Award at the 2005 IPMS USA Nationals in Atlanta. 

M4 Sherman June 1944 Normandy by Rob Ervin

This is the Tamiya M4 with a number of Formations items including our F053 Transmission, F005 Detail Set, F121 Cupola, and OOP F015 Turret. The tracks are from tamiya and the suspension is from tasca. the figures are a combination of Royal Models parts.

 M5 Stuart by Tony Fradkin

This model was built with the discontinued M5A1 conversion for the AFV Club kit. The turret is from the Academy M3A1 kit. The model was awarded a Gold Medal in the Advanced Division at the AMPS National Convention. 

Formations Models built by Jim Wechsler

These are a few of Jim Wechsler's incredible collection of Sherman models which earned Jim the Best of Show award at the 2007 IPMS USA National competition in Anaheim CA. Jim provided the photos of models that were constructed using a majority of Formations products.  

Polish Sherman Vc by David Farris

The model was built with Formations F051 M4A4 upper and lower hull, F022 Late Low Bustle Firefly Turret, F018 Pioneer Tools, and F050 Headlight set. The model was awarded an Advanced Silver Medal at the 2008 AMPS Nationals. 

M4A1 w/ Applique Armor by David Farris

The model was built with kit F015, F055 Lower hull, and F019 Machine Gun set. The model was awarded an Advanced Silver Medal at the 2008 AMPS Nationals. 

M4A1 w/ Applique Armor by Pat Stansell

The Model was built with the Formations M4A1 Conversion and an Italeri Donor kit. The Tasca early Sherman suspension and a few Photo-Etched Parts were also used. 

Jeremy Moore's Polish M4A2

The model was built with Formations discontinued M4A2 conversion with welded drivers hoods. The donor kit was an Academy M10 and the model features crew figures from Ultracast.

M4A1 Mid Production by Rob Ervin

This was our first kit produced and a very early casting from 2003. The base is from Verlinden, the tracks are from Tamiya's M4 kit.
